This anthology series tests the notion that truth is stranger than fiction. Each episode of "Beyond Belief" tells several tales of events that would appear to be impossible. At least one story in each episode is true and based on real events. It's up to viewers to determine which of the logic-defying stories, that often include supernatural elements, are factual. At the end of each episode, viewers are told which stories were made up and which were real. Former Emmy-nominated actor Josh Brolin hosted the first season, with actor Jonathan Frakes taking over hosting duties starting with the show's sophomore season.

Creepy true stories like a boy vanishing in the closet, and false stories, like a dog coming back to life, and a bankrupt couple with the Gone with the Wind dresses in their closet.
