EUSTIS — Did you hear the scoop?
Mystic Ice Cream, which specializes in homemade adult ice cream with alcohol in it,is opening itsdoors at a brand new location in Eustis.
If the name sounds familiar, it's because it is. Mystic Ice Creamalready has two local shops — one in Fruitland Park and another in Leesburg.
For Mystic, business is booming, so the owners havedecided to expand and open another location.
"We decided after looking at a couple of other places that Eustis would be a great place to be," said Daryll Day, who is co-ownerof Mystic Ice Cream with his wife, Lisa."We had received an invitation from the Chief of Police who had visited our shop in Leesburg and said, ‘You need to come to Eustis.' He is a wonderful guy and a great salesman for Eustis so we went and looked at it and we found a wonderful place on Magnolia Avenue right there in the heart of the business district.”
